I can’t remember a time during my adult life when I didn’t have a cat- sometimes up to seven at a time! I’ve not only had my own cats, but have also been involved with charities who neuter, spay and home feral cats. In fact, my beloved boy Will was born in the garden of my Hackney house and he lived with us until he died at aged 16.

I always have rescue cats and we currently have two, Tomek and Samson who came to us via Second Chance Portsmouth. But we won’t stop there and our plan is to give two more cats a loving home. We don’t care about age, colour, size, we just love cats – and we are lucky enough to have a long suffering rescue dog who knows that any cat in the house is the boss!

There’s just nothing like the love of a cat. It’s always on their terms and if they love you it’s because you’ve earned it. And don’t get me started on the cuddles and purrs!
I’ve used Katie at Whisker Watch to look after our gang for years now and I am to be as good at caring for your cats while you are away as Katie is with ours. So, I’m looking forward to this opportunity to meet more wonderful felines.
