Cat sitting isn’t all cuddles and purrs! Poor Samson had two trips to the vets while his mummies were away and I had to put him in the cone of shame 😿
A benefit of using a professional cat sitter is that we are knowledgeable about cats’ behaviour, notice little changes in them and can keep an eye on them to make sure they are ok, or take them to the vets if needed.
Also, being a cat sitter means taking time to build a bond with the cats we sit and because of this, Samson was able to trust me when taking him to the vet and allowed me to comfort him. He even gave me some love blinks after I put the cone on him to assure me we are still friends. He was such a good boy 😻
Samson is now all happy and recovered, he had a poorly paw which I helped to sort out with some meds and lots and lots of love 🥰
